There are quite a few amazing oyster farms just in the Chesapeake Bay, but if you want to broaden your horizons, you can also try Pacific, Kumamoto, Blue Point, or Wellfleet oysters.
Gather Your Supplies
Once you’ve got your oysters selected, it’s time to gather your supplies. You’ll need a shucking knife and a shucking board for each guest, as well as plenty of paper towels and somewhere to put the discarded shells. You may also want to have some lemon wedges, hot sauce, and mignonette available.
